I’ve been revisiting a grouping of acoustic guitar songs that I wrote about three years ago after my brief stint in the mortgage industry. The tunes are very simple and straightforward, with tongue-in-cheek lyrics and a twangy vocal delivery.

This project began under the PLENUM umbrella, but its nature is such that it deserves its own name: BOWL OF DUST.

Take a listen to a live recording of a recent set performed at the wonderful ragamuffin community known as Ball Hall.

A cassette release is in the works, as soon as a whole band is put together. Right now it’s me (Kyle) on vocals and guitar, Stephen Gregg on junkyard percussion, and Brian Lewis-Jones on trombone and other knickknacks.
